PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Tis WW1 German M17 Helmet is in nice condition for it's age. Helmet is all original. It looks like it was varnished over a long time ago. Helmet still retains part of it's original chinstrap and buckle. Both chinstrap swivels are also present. Size is somewhat hard to read but I do see the number "4" so it is most likely a size 64. Helmet is named to back rim but is also hard to make out. All original split pins are present and liner band. Helmet retains a lot of it's original paint with some rust spotting.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This Imperial Prussian Officers Pickelhaube Front Plate is in real nice condition with no damage. Front Plate has two holes to eagles breast. At one time there was an insignia present. The insignia could have been a Reservist Cross or Garde Star ? This is merely speculation on my part.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This Order of the Black Eagle Garde Star for the Cartouche box is in nice condition showing some wear and age. White enameling has some light damage. All four fastening loops are present. Star measures 3 1/8 inches across . Measurement from the center of one fastening loop to the other is 2 1/8 inches. Beautiful item.
