PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This Civil War US Model 1840 Cavalry Saber is in nice condition showing some wear and age. Saber is Horstmann's Phila. marked. Grip has all the leather wrap but is missing some of the wire. Blade shows some pitting towards the tip area. There are also some sword nicks to the blade and the very tip to the blade is blunted. Scabbard is nice showing some wear but no damage. Blade measures 35 1/8 inches.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This Civil War Light Cavalry Saber is in fair condition showing some wear and battlefield damage. Saber is marked to one side of ricasso: U.S. C.E.W. 2 1864. Other side is maker marked Mansfield & Lamb Forestdale R.I. . Grip has wire wrap but no leather remains. Blade shows some greying but no pitting. There are some sword nicks to blade. Blade measures 35 1/4 inches in length. Basket guard is bent as though trampled by a horse or wagon. Definitely looks like a battlefield pickup. No scabbard.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This Civil War US Model 1840 N.C.O. Sword is in excellent condition for its age. I believe it was unissued. Blade is nice and bright with no nicks or sharpening. Grip and pommel area have a real nice patina. Leather scabbard is also very nice with no damage. Drag is inspector marked A.D.K. . Blade is marked : US S 1864 to one side and Made by Ames Mfg. Co. Chicopee Mass. to other. Hard to upgrade on.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This Civil War US Model 1840 N.C.O. Sword is in real nice condition. I believe this sword to be unissued. Blade is bright with no nicks or sharpening. There is couple specks of greying by ricasso area. Pommel and grip have a great patina. Leather scabbard is solid having a nicely done repair about 1 1/2 inches up from top of drag. This can be seen in last photo. Drag is inspector marked A.D.K. . Blade is marked US A.D.K. 1864 to one side and Made by Ames Mfg. Chicopee Mass. to other side. All around very nice sword.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: These Ladies of the GAR & Daughters of Veterans Medals are in excellent condition showing no wear or damage. Both fastening pins are present and function great. Both ribbons are also in very nice condition. Medals come with the bottom portion of the original box for the Ladies of the GAR medal. All corners to box are nice without damage.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This Civil War Union Cap Pouch is in fair condition showing some age and wear. Leather is still very supple. One strap has come loose but is present. Pouch is maker marked : Baker-? N-Y McKenney. The word that appears to read "Baker" is very faint, so I am not 100% sure that is correct.
