PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This WW2 German Police Shako is in real nice condition. Felt covered body is nice with a couple of light moth tracks but no holes. Leather chinstrap is in excellent condition. Leather liner is also in excellent condition with all fingers intact. Aluminum cockade and front eagle shield are also in excellent condition. Front and rear visors are nice with a little light crazing. Rear visor has a tiny ding to edge , this can be seen in last photo. Hardly worth mentioning. Some light crazing to bottom black exterior band. Shako is nicely "Erel" maker marked to interior. Overall a very nice Shako.
