PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This Jager Zu Pferde helmet is in nice condition showing some wear and age. Body of helmet does have a ding to right backside . Spike is of the removable type. Frontplate is in real nice condition. Liner shows some wear, damage and age. Five of the ten fingers are torn at the drawstring holes. There is a small plate to the top interior that is held in place by the spike screws. The plate reads: Weisschburger & Cie. Cannstatt.. There are some other letters before the "W" but they are under the spike nut. The only letter that I can see is the small letter "m.". Underneath of the liner there is a 1916 ink stamp date. Helmet is missing the chinstrap and cockades.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This Officer's Pickelhaube field grey cloth cover is in real nice condition. There are no holes but one spike strap has a little tear, not bad. All five brass attachment hooks are present. Cover has a "B.P." ink stamp to interior. Nice example.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This WW1 German Butcher Bayonet is in fair condition showing some wear and age. Bayonet was manufactured by the firm of Alex Coppel of Solingen. Blade has never been sharpened but does show some greying. Grips are nice with no cracks but they do show a few dings. Release button functions fine. Pommel and quillon show much greying. Scabbard shows some dents and rust spots. Back spine of blade is "17" dated. Scabbard fits nice and tight.
