PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This War Merit Cross 1st Class Without Swords is in real nice condition showing some very light tarnish. This is an earlier version with a nickel silver plating. Fastening pin is marked "50" for the firm of Karl Gschiermeister of Wein.
