PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This WW2 U.S. Army Synthetic Multi Purpose Poncho/Shelter is in nice condition. There is one snap that is pulled through. All others are nice. I haven't tried to unsnap any of them. There are no holes or tears whatsoever. Poncho is dated Feb. 22, 1945. Poncho appears to have been used very little. There is an ink stamped laundry number to the back of the neck area. Interior seems to be rubber coated while exterior is a canvas like material.
