PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: This WW2 U.S. M1 Front Seam Swivel Bail Helmet shell is in real nice condition showing some light wear. Shell is dent free and retains approximately 90% of it's original paint. Khaki chinstrap is in super condition with no damage or wear. Helmet has a heat stamp number 1055 which I believe dates it between September 1944 & November 1944. Helmet is named in pencil to interior : Sgt. Fox Co. B 737th. Helmet has the numbers 2 over 6 in chalk to front. All original helmet.
